Kristan is a law graduate and prior to joining Phoenix Legal Services worked as a paralegal for a firm of criminal defence solicitors and as a litigation executive for a large national practice in their industrial disease department.

Kristan qualified as a Costs Lawyer in 2021 and is Team Leader for the Budget and Costs Management team. He is responsible for the development and training of his team.

Kristan has experience across the full range of civil costs, drafting and negotiation and currently deals with all aspects of civil litigation costs, including bill and budget drafting, costs management, points of reply and negotiation.
