Stephen Averill, Managing Director of Phoenix Legal Services is this year’s recipient of the Chairman’s Cup 2024, which he received at the Association of Costs Lawyers’ (ACL) London cost conference in October.

Stephen received this prestigious award in recognition of his many years of work with the ACL and as well as his services and contribution to the legal costs profession in general. He is currently the joint vice chair of the ACL and has held many different positions for the organisation throughout its history, and has been working in costs since 1986.

The award is thoroughly deserved and we are all immensely proud of Stephen here at Phoenix.
