Following a number of complaints regarding CCMS, the LAA has announced that the mandatory roll out of the system will now be delayed until February 2016. This has been welcomed across the profession. As it stands, the CCMS system is riddled with problems causing huge delays for solicitors and costs lawyers alike.

Whilst there will no doubt be benefits of the system, until it works efficiently the problems have outweighed these dramatically. Whilst at Kutter Walters, we have managed to bypass many of the problems by enrolling ourselves onto the bulk upload pilot, we have also experienced a number of delays due to flaws in the system.

We look forward to the problems being ironed out by February 2016, as we predict that this system will undoubtedly result in faster payments to our clients.
